Apply abundant basal fertilizer, frequent topdressing, and timely pest and disease control.

Frequent harvesting is recommended.

Under low temperatures in early stages, hormonal flower treatment may be used to improve fruit set.

Recommended Planting Areas

Suitable for Chongqing and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and for early-spring protected cultivation in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.

In Chongqing, nursery raising is recommended in large (or medium) plastic tunnels or electrically heated seedbeds from January 21 to February 20.

This is a first-generation hybrid (F1) variety characterized by vigorous growth and strong plant vigor.

This is a first-generation hybrid (F1) variety characterized by vigorous growth and strong plant vigor. The average plant height is approximately 110.0 cm, with a canopy spread of about 88.5 cm. The leaves are green with a light purple tinge, relatively large in size, and the stems are purple in color. The flowers are purple, and the first flower typically appears at the 13th to 14th node.

Fruits are long and cylindrical, straight with pointed tips. The fruit surface is a glossy dark purple without significant color variation between sun-exposed and shaded sides. The area beneath the calyx is deep purple. On average, fruits are about 36 cm in length and 6 cm in diameter, with an average weight of approximately 400 grams per fruit. The flesh is loosely textured with good quality.

Key Cultivation Practices:

Early Spring Cultivation: Use 20–30 grams of seeds per mu (1 mu ≈ 666.7 m²), with a final planting density of 2,200–2,800 plants per mu.

Timely Harvesting: Especially for the first and second fruits, early harvesting is recommended to promote the development of middle and upper fruits.

Pest and Disease Management: Monitor and control key diseases and pests such as bacterial wilt, Fusarium wilt, Phytophthora blight, brown spot, and red spider mites.

Recommended Planting Regions and Seasons:

Suitable for Chongqing and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.

For early spring cultivation, sow seeds between October 11th and 20th.

In other regions with similar climatic and ecological conditions, trial planting is recommended before large-scale cultivation.

Key Cultivation Practices
Recommended planting density is 2,000 plants per mu (approx. 30,000 per hectare), with 66 × 50 cm spacing. Train vines onto trellises promptly. When 3–4 young fruits appear, perform successive pinching, remove lateral branches, and retain the main stem to promote fruit setting. During low temperatures, hormone treatment or manual pollination with male flowers can improve early fruit set.

Adaptability
This variety is highly adaptable and demonstrates high yield, stability, and strong resistance to stress under proper cultivation and management.
