High-Quality F1 Hybrid Pumpkin Variety

This is a vigorous, early to mid-maturing, trailing-type pumpkin hybrid. The first female flower typically appears at nodes 13–15 on the main vine. Fruits are club-shaped with slightly ribbed surfaces, small blossom scars, and a swollen blossom end. The neck is slightly slender. Immature fruits are glossy green, while mature fruits turn orange-yellow with dense flesh and a sweet taste. Excellent in flavor, storage, and transportability. Average fruit weight is 2–3 kg, with a high yield potential of around 2,500 kg per mu (approximately 37,500 kg per hectare). This variety is suitable for cultivation across various regions in China.

Main Cultivation Guidelines and Planting Seasons:

1. Planting Seasons: Suitable for spring and autumn cultivation. Can be sown directly or transplanted from seedlings. Optimal growth temperature: 20–29°C. Sensitive to photoperiod; not recommended for areas with day lengths exceeding 13 hours.

2. Spacing and Density: Row spacing 1.5–2.0 m, plant spacing 0.8–1.0 m; plant 300–500 plants per mu depending on soil fertility. Apply base fertilizer adequately. Minimize nitrogen fertilizer use and apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to avoid excessive vegetative growth. Perform hand pollination during cold weather to enhance fruit set. Take precautions against powdery mildew.

3. Regional Adaptability: Ideal for Chongqing and surrounding regions. In other areas with similar climate and ecological conditions, trial planting is recommended before commercial cultivation.
